Day 1 - Sunday
BUNRATTY
Arrive in Ireland at Shannon Airport. Visit Bunratty Folk Park, a recreated 19th century Irish village with a 15th century castle! Enjoy panoramic sightseeing of Limerick City
Visit 12th century King John's Castle on the banks of the Shannon River, This evening enjoy a welcome dinner followed by an Irish Coffee!
Day 2 - Monday
BLARNEY & KINSALE
Tour south toward Cork stopping at Blarney Castle to kiss the famous Blarney Stone and obtain the gift of eloquent speech. On to Cork City on the River Lee, Ireland's second largest city.
Continue to Kinsale, the gourmet capital of Ireland. Visit 17th century, star shaped, Charles Fort with its own resident ghost! On to Bantry with its lovely bay. Stay this evening at Seaview House Hotel.
Dinner in the dining room this evening.
Day 3 - Tuesday
BEARA PENINSULA
Tour out to the tip of the scenic Beara Peninsula and the town of Castletownbere. Enjoy a leisurely day exploring this remote peninsula with its spectacular scenery. Return to Bantry.
Dinner on your own tonight. Your driver will take you into the town of Bantry and let you sample some of the local pubs and restaurants and return you back to the Seaview House Hotel.
Day 4 - Wednesday
GARINISH ISLAND
Stop at Bantry House, built around 1700 and tour through the house. Inside there is an eclectic collection of art and furnishings brought from all over Europe. On to Glengarriff where we fery across Bantry Bay to Garinish Island
Enjoy the Italianate Gardens and view the Martello Tower as you stroll around the island. On your return view the basking seals on Seal Island. Return to Seaview House Hotel. Dinner in the dining room this evening.
Day 5 - Thursday
KENMARE & LADIES' VIEW
Cross the exhilarating Caha Pass to Kenmare and then north stopping at Ladies' View to admire the panoramic view of the Lakes of Killarney below. Continue down into Killarney, set by the beautiful lakes. "Heaven's Reflex" as it is renowned for its beauty. Enjoy a jaunting cart ride through the Killarney National Park before arriving at the Killarney Royal Hotel.

Day 6 - Friday
DINGLE PENINSULA
Tour the spectacular Dingle Peninsula to Dingle, one of Ireland's most picturesque spots. We visit the town of Dingle, then drive around Slea Head and admire its rugged beauty. Visit the Blasket IslandCenter, Mulcahy's Pottery and a lunch stop in Ballyferriter.
Return to Killarney via Tralee and hear the sad romantic story of the Rose of Tralee. Stop at the spectacular viewpoint of Aghadoe Heights. Dinner on your own tonight. A chance to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the town.
Day 7 - Saturday
ADARE, COOLE & THOOR BALLYLEE
Tour north through the picturesque village of Adare with thatch roof cottages lining the main street. Tour north to Coole, the former estate of Lady Augusta Gregory who was a co-founder of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin with William Butler Yeats. You'll see the 'Autograph Tree' with the initials of famous visitors carved into the copper beech tree.
Stop at Thoor Ballylee, once the summer home of Yeats. You'll tour the tower and the cottage. Continue along the shores of Galway Bay into Galway City. Stay at the Park House Hotel just off Eyre Square.

Day 8 - Sunday
CLARE COAST
Tour to the coast County Clare. See the Cliffs of Moher, rising 700 feet from the Atlantic and stretching for five miles. Tour the Burren - an area of limstone rock where alpine flowers grow. Through the Spa town of Lisdoonvarna where
each September they hold the Matchmaker Festival! Return to Galway City for a leisure evening. Dinner on your own tonight. A chance to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the town.
Day 9 - Monday
ARAN ISLANDS & GALWAY
Drive along the shores of Galway Bay to Inverin. We take an air excursion to the largest of the Aran islands - Inishmor. Enjoy a two hour tour of the island including a visit to the ancient fort - Dun Angeus.
You'll have time to shop for woolen sweaters. After returning from the island we'll return to Galway City where you'll have time to explore the pedestrianized streets with shops, pubs and restaurants. Dinner on your own tonight. A chance to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the town.
Day 10 - Tuesday
CONNEMARA TOUR
We tour through Connemara and stop in the fishing village of Roundstone where the Bodhran, the musical goat skin drum, is made. On through Ballyconneely to Clifden, the 'capital' of Connemara; visit Kylemore Abbey,
a former Benedictine Abbey, now a private school for girls. Continue through Leenane and view Killary Harbor, Ireland's only fjord! On to Wesport, view Croagh Patrick in the distance where pilgrims come to climb the holy mountain where St. Patrick fasted for forty days and forty nights.
Westport is a bustling town with associations to Grace O'Malley - the Pirtae Queen! Dinner on your own tonight. A chance to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the town.
Day 11 - Wednesday
CARROWMORE & SLIGO
On to County Sligo, a county of gentle mountains, lakes and coastline. This area is associated with the great writer, W. B. Yeats. Visit Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery, dating back over 7000 years! Visit Sligo Town, over 750 years old with traditional shop fronts.
We stay in Sligo near Rosses Point at the Radisson hotel overlooking Ben Bulben. Dinner in the dining room this evening.
Day 12 - Thursday
BELLEEK & DONEGAL TOWN
Tour north from Sligo stopping at Drumcliff and the Yeats Center. Yeats is buried here in Drumclif Churchyard. On to Ballyshannon where you visit the Donegal Parian China showrooms.
Nearby is the town of Belleek home of the famous Belleek China factory. We tour into Donegal Town and visit Magees of Donegal for tweeds and woolens. Visit 15th century Donegal Castle, with its fully restored Jacobean wing. Return to Sligo and the Radisson Hotel.
Your driver will take you into the town of Sligo and let you sample some of the local pubs and restaurants and return you back to the Radisson Hotel.
Day 13 - Friday
GLENVEAGH NATIONAL PARK
Tour north to Letterkenny and visit Glenveagh National Park. 16,500 hectares of mountains, glens, lakes and wwoods. Tour through the 19th century Glenveagh castle surrounded by the famous Glenveagh Gardens. Return to Sligo and the Radisson Hotel.

Day 14 - Saturday
BOYLE ABBEY & FAMINE MMUSEUM
Travel to Boyle and visit the 13th century Boyle Abbey founded by the Cistercians. Continue to Stroketown in County Roscommon to visit the Famine Museum and Stroketown House. You'll learn what life was like on a Tenant Farm during the Great Famine. On to Dublin Airport where you stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
