October 1 or October 8 - Friday
CURRAGH, NATIONAL STUD & JAPANESE GARDENS
You'll be met by your experienced driver-guide and a luxury Mercedes touring vehicle and tour from Dublin Airport. After you arrive at the Heritage Resort, you'll want to explore and see all of the facilities and features of this 5 star retreat. Maybe take in a Spa Treatment, a swim in the pool or a walk on the marked trails around the golf course. In the afternoon you Tour to the Curragh, which is the heart of the horse-breeding and horse training in Ireland. Nearby at Tully is the National Stud which has produced many famous racehorses and incorporates a horse museum. Across the road is the Japanese Gardens founded by Lord Wavertree and designed by the Japanese landscape designer Eida in 1906. The delightful gardens are renowned for their symbolism of “The Life of Man.”Dinner on your own tonight. A chance to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the resort and the village of Killenard.

October 2 or October 9 - Saturday
KILKENNY,THOMASTOWN & WATERFORD
Tour to the medieval town of Kilkenny, visiting 12th century Kilkenny Castle and tour the State Apartments which have been fully restored. You'll visit the Kilkenny Design Center with its craft shops. On to Kells and a view of the 13th century Kells Priory. Continue south to Waterford for a visit to the Waterford Crystal Visitor Center. Time permitting: Visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship Museum at New Ross. Return to The Heritage for a relaxing evening. Dinner on your own tonight. A chance to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the resort and the village of Killenard.
October 3 or October 10 - Sunday
CAHIR & CASHEL
Tour to County Tipperary and to the town of Cashel. The impressive Rock of Cashel looms up in front of you as you approach the town. This cathedral-fortress dates to the time of St. Patrick when he used the shamrock as the symbol of the Holy Trinity as he converted the King of Munster to Christianity. Continue to Cahir with a visit to the 12th century Butler castle - Cahir Castle. This has been fully restored to its original state. Return to The Heritage Resort for a leisure evening.

October 4 or October 11 - Monday
KILDARE TOWN & GLENDALOUGH
Enjoy the morning at the resort for Golf or Spa. You can rent clubs at the Pro Shop. This challenging parkland course will provide a delightful golfing experience. Or enjoy a Spa treatment at the resort spa. Late morning tour to Kildare Town with its associations with Ireland's Patroness Saint Bridgid. Cross the scenic Wicklow Mountains through the Sally Gap to Laragh and Glendalough. You'll visit the 6th century monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin. See the round tower and the other sites of this early Christian site. Continue north to Dublin via Powerscourt Gardens, said to be one of the finest in Ireland. Arrive at the Merrion Hotel in time for your evening start of Pilgrimage activites.
ON THE POST TOUR The tour will end at the Radisson Dublin Airport Hotel with accommodaton and breakfast included. The hotel has a courtesy van that will take you to the airport terminal the next morning.
